Serv.IT is the internal provider of IT services at heristo ag. One of its main responsibilities is the care and maintenance of the company’s business applications, foremost among them SAP.

Mr Langner had already been engaged by Serv.IT for various project tasks, error analyses and optimisations. One key task in 2012 was the programming of an interface from SAP to an external data warehouse in the management control department. The collaboration with Mr Langner encompassed in this example everything from technical conceptualisation and development, including function tests, to documenting the interface.

Our collaboration was excellent and successful through the entire period, the emphasis always being on the results. Joint consultation sessions between the functional departments and the IT staff were helpful and benefitted from the good ideas and simple solutions contributed as usual by Mr Langner. Our excellent collaboration will therefore continue into the future.

Marc White, SAP CO consultant, Gesellschaft für IT Services mbH,

Established in 1909, Jebsen & Jessen GmbH & Co KG is a trading company in Hamburg that belongs to a group of more than 50 companies with operations worldwide.

In an SAP introduction project with an emphasis on Global Trade Management (GTM), Mr Langner was responsible from March 2011 to December 2012 for data migration from our legacy systems to an SAP system. His responsibilities included designing, developing and setting up test scenarios. He was responsible also for the planning and subsequent realisation of the “going live” phase of this subproject.

His strong communication skills enabled him to productively coordinate collaborative work with the various functional departments and the other subprojects. The high level of Mr Langner’s professionalism and technical expertise guaranteed a successful outcome in this part of the project.

Mr Langer is remarkable for his extensive and wide-ranging yet specialised knowledge of the SAP system. He was able to apply this knowledge in the various areas of technical specialisation in a productive way, making the project work efficient and goal-oriented. Mr Langner’s high level of expertise in both technical and organisational matters ensured that the links to other subprojects were well-maintained.

Working with Mr Langner is something I can recommend without reservation.

Since 2011, business processes have been managed at Weber & Schaer through SAP.

To map the commercial and logistics processes, we decided to use SAP’s Global Trade Management software.

Mr Langner was engaged in 2012 to optimise the processes in Global Trade Management (GTM). The emphasis was on modifying and integrating GTM into inventory management. This task included joint design with the IT staff and the department along with development, documentation and the performance of function tests.

Mr Langer proved to be a prudent advisor at all times, one who performs his work with great care and precision.

He always completed the tasks assigned to him to our complete satisfaction. Our work with him was always pleasant and productive, so that we will continue to engage him in future and are able to recommend him to others without reservation.
